Salsa at Westlake Park
Friday, Sept. 3rd 4pm-10pm
Big thanks to those who came and support our salsa on Alki this year, we are trying Salsa at Westlake for the fist time this year, 2 Beginning Salsa intro lessons at 4pm & 6pm followed by great Salsa and Bachata and a little merangue till 10pm.

Due to the limited street downtown parking, please consider public transit.
We are opening the floor to all levels of salsa dancers. This is a great opportunity for any of you who have been practicing, regardless of your level and just want to strut your stuff under the setting sun in front of fellow Salseras y Salseros or spectators.

These great outdoor events is NOT funded by the city, we like to ask that everyone please donnate..
-$5 towards dance floor up keep, Djs, sound system rental & nonrefundable rain out city permits. At each event we will have various raffles, performances.
Volunteers are welcome and we will gladly compensate you for your help. We need help with set up, take down and running the event (you can volunteer and dance at the same event!). Thanks for your understanding and support--see you at the our next event!

The events will be canceled in the event of rain, we will make this decision and post it on on this page.

This event is open to the public, come to watch, dance or to compete, everyone is welcome!
Dancer from all surrounding cities, Vancouver BC, Victoria BC, Portland OR., please join us!
Amateur Intermediate/Advanced Level Only.
Bring your own partner & music - maximum 1.5 mins routine, (NO aereos, all competitors must sign in with the judges by 10:15pm)
Featuring Special guest judge for this event Eli Torres
-1st place couples will receive trophies plus sharing $200 value
of workshops from Salsa Champions (((Liz Lira & Eli Torres))).
Eli's workshops is on Sept. 11th & 12th at SCT.
-2nd place winners each will receive $50 gift packages & trophies.
-3rd place winners each will receive $25 gift packages & ribbons.
-Hottest latin mix by Dj JC
-FREE: Raffle drawings during the evening
-FREE intro Beg. level Salsa lesson @ 9pm with your $10 event cover
